The Senior Contract Administrator manages the funding contract process, including budget preparation, forecasting reconciliation and reporting for our programs.

Must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3-5 years related full-time experience with contract management and 5-8 years of general business/finance experience. An understanding of state contracts accounting and regulatory filings is preferred.



Description

Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Financial Operations, the Senior Contract Administrator manages the contract process, including budget preparation, forecasting, reconciliation and reporting.





Responsibilities:



+ Anticipate, identify, track and remediate contractual issues to resolution and perform daily contractual administration.


+ Ensure contractual matters are communicated to management and advise on contractual issues that may arise during program execution.


+ Work collaboratively with the field and finance to ensure all contracts are current and accurate.


+ Prepare BAMSI contracts/grants/awards for submission annually. Prepare year end and year start analysis.


+ Analyze variances between actual and budget for management and department managers.


+ Perform monthly and ad hoc analyses to provide recommendations to management.


+ Work closely with the Billing Department to ensure accurate monthly billing.


+ Function as primary liaison between the BAMSI Business Office and field staff to facilitate efficient, accurate billing and contract management.


+ Work collaboratively to monitor and update program budgets utilizing MIP Fund Accounting and in the preparation and reconciliation of the UFR annual submission.


+ Attend contract meetings with state agencies and any other funders as requested.


+ Attend selected trainings for continued professional growth.


+ Perform other fiscal duties as directed by the Director of Finance and Accounting.


+ Perform duties consistent with agency/program policies and procedures.






Qualifications:






+ Bachelors Degree, with a minimum of 3-5 years related full-time experience with contract management and 5-8 years of general business/finance experience.


+ Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint as well as experience working in finance systems


+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.


+ Demonstrated attention to detail and organization skills.


+ Understanding of state contracts accounting and regulatory filings preferred.
